Notable Collections

Over the years, UC San Diego has developed unique areas of research emphasis and corresponding library collections and resources of distinction. Notable examples among the Area Studies include Melanesian and Pacific Island Studies, as well as Latin American Studies. In addition, materials relating to the Spanish Civil War, the History of Oceanography, and historic elections attract researchers and scholars from around the world to UC San Diego.
